Intended for patients who have not found relief from antidepressant drugs, TMS uses magnets to stimulate a specific area of the brain associated with controlling mood– decreasing depressive symptoms after repeated sessions.

All major payers cover TMS treatment for Depression. If you've tried multiple antidepressants and therapy, there's a good chance your insurance covers it.
Sessions are 3-20 minutes and you can drive to and from your appointments. The full course covered by insurance usually takes about 6-8 weeks to complete.
About 79% of patients who complete a full course of TMS show a clinically meaningful response and about 53% experience a remission, meaning their symptoms go away completely.

TMS therapy has been FDA cleared since 2008, proven to be safe & effective

While you may feel a slight tapping sensation, most patients adapt to it after just a couple of sessions

Many patients start to see an
improvement after just 2-3 weeks of treatment.

Dr. Brenda Kibola grew up in Kenya, part of a large Christian family, where her deep-rooted desire to help others first began. Her hard work and academic dedication earned her a scholarship to study in the U.S., and it was during her Psychiatry rotation in medical school that her life’s calling became clear. For the first time, she felt an undeniable sense of purpose, passion, and excitement—she knew she was meant to be a Psychiatrist. After earning her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, Dr. Kibola completed her Psychiatry Residency training at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. With this training, she spent four rewarding years at Marshfield Clinic Health System, before deciding to open her own independent practice to offer more personalized care. Dr. Kibola’s personal journey, combined with her extensive professional training, makes her uniquely equipped to understand and care for her patients. She approaches every case with genuine compassion, helping individuals overcome mental health challenges and live their lives to the fullest.
